Graduates from Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy, ICS (hereinafter referred to as "Hitotsubashi University ICS-FS") courses now number nearly 500. A network of graduates from Hitotsubashi University ICS-FS has already been built in no small measure through intercommunion or voluntary study sessions such as class reunions, get-together for seminar members, SNS (Facebook, LINE, etc.).
Therefore, we have formed a working group for the alumni organization and gotten everything ready since summer 2015 to formally set up an alumni organization for Hitotsubashi University ICS-FS courses.
Then, on Saturday, July 9th, 2016, we held a general kick-off meeting for an alumni association for Hitotsubashi University ICS-FS courses, where alumni association bylaws / proposal for officer appointment / budget plan for 2016 were approved, and the alumni association for Hitotsubashi University ICS-FS courses have been formally inaugurated.

The alumni association's bylaws proposal was approved in the alumni association's general kick-off meeting and the alumni association's bylaws have now taken effect. Concerning the membership fee, Article-24 of the association's bylaws stipulates as follows:
Article-24 (Membership Fee)
Membership fee of the association is 10,000 yen in the form of membership donation. A member shall pay the donation once in a lifetime.
In a budget proposal for 2016, we suggested to raise member donations of 2,550,000 yen (equivalent to 255 members) as a breakdown of proposal on budget for activities.
Going forward, we are considering using fare-paying services such as management of members' information as a part of the association's business or providing a part of costs for association-related events from the association's budget and this means that we need to allow enough funds that can be used for the association's activities.
Therefore, we request all the members to pay the member donation of 10,000 yen within 2016. The board of directors will take responsibility to maintain the record of those who paid the member donations. In the days ahead, we will make specific reviews on the possibility of privileges for those who paid member donations (such as discounting registration fees of miscellaneous events as proposed in the working group).
