PMC寄附講義『不動産ファイナンス』講演会

2008年5月20日、Dwight Jaffee教授　（Hass School of Business, UC Berkeley）をスピーカーに迎え、如水会館にて、PMC寄附講義「不動産ファイナンス」講演会が開催された。

本講演会は、パシフィックマネジメント株式会社（PMC）のご協賛のもと、2007年10月に本校金融戦略・経営財務プログラムに開設された不動産ファイナンスPMC寄附講義の一環として行われた。当日の会場は、100名を超える参加者でほぼ満席となった。

"The U.S. Subprime Mortgage Crisis: Issues Raised and Lessons Learned"　という演題で、サブプライムローン問題に端を発した動揺が続く米国の不動産や金融市場の状況について講演が行われ、続いて行われた質疑 応答では、参加者より数多くの質問や意見が出た。講演会終了後には、Jaffee 教授を交えての懇親会が行われた。

※ タイトル及び本文中のパシフィックマネジメント株式会社（PMC = Pacific Management Corporation）は、本講演会当時（2008年5月20日現在）の会社名であり、現在（2008年6月1日以降）、同社はパシフィックホールディ ングス株式会社（PHI = Pacific Holdings, Inc.）に社名変更しております。

"Real Estate Finance Lecture" donated by PMC was held at the Josui-kaikan in Tokyo on Tuesday, May 20th, 2008. We had Professor Dwight Jaffee from Hass School of Business, UC Berkeley as a guest speaker. The lecture, sponsored by Pacific Management Corporation (PMC), was organized as part of the "Real Estate Lecture (A Donated Lecture by PMC)" commenced on October 1, 2007 in Financial Management and Strategy Program at Graduate School of International Cooperate Strategy , Hitotsubashi University. On the day of the lecture the conference room was almost filled to capacity with more than 100 participants.

Professor Jaffee gave us a lecture titled "The U.S. Subprime Mortgage Crisis: Issues Raised and Lessons Learned". In his speech, he lectured us real estate and credit market conditions in the U.S. facing the continuing public unrest which was caused by the subprime mortgage crisis. During the Q&A session followed by the lecture, questions came from the participants one after another.
